Cops target drug-dealing hot spots in Clifton after needles found

Clifton cops are targeting drug-dealing hot spots after a number of needles were discovered.

Nottinghamshire Police have decided to increase their patrols around the Clifton estate after needles were removed from under the Wilford Toll Bridge on Thursday, June 6.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Some of the on duty beat team have been out on foot this afternoon for a tour of Clifton and Wilford conducting enquiries and checking anti-social behaviour and drug-dealing or taking spots.

"We will be liaising with our council colleagues to get the sharps removed from the Toll Bridge arches and increasing the patrols in the area.

"If you see any suspicious behaviour or experience any ASB please call 101/999."
