Cops swoop on Grangemouth street in connection with 'disturbance'

Police swooped on two streets in Grangemouth yesterday after reports of what the force has described as a "possible disturbance".

A number of officers were spotted on both Sunart Place in the Bowhouse area of the town, as well as Avonbank Avenue, near Charlotte Dundas Court.

An ambulance was also called to the scene after the alarm was raised at around 3:50pm - but was not required.
