Cops swoop on Grangemouth street after attack left man injured

A man was left injured after being attacked in Grangemouth last night.

Officers swooped on Lumley Place following reports of a disturbance in the area at around 8pm.

At least 12 officers and six police vans were spotted at one point, as well as a dog unit.

It's not known how badly the man was injured and no arrests have been made.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8pm on Sunday, 20 June, police were called to the Lumley Place area of Grangemouth, following a report of an assault.

"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry."
