Cops swoop on disturbance in Falkirk Street as man arrested

A man has been arrested after a disturbance in Falkirk last night.

Officers, including a dog unit, raced to Main Street in Camelon around 6:50pm on Thursday May 20.

A 36-year-old was cuffed at the scene.

Pictures on social media showed a number of emergency vehicles in attendance.

The nature of the disturbance is not known, but cops say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 6.50pm on Thursday, 20 May, to a report of a disturbance in Main Street, Camelon.

"A 32-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances."
