Cops seize 6500 Valium tablets from Alexandria property

Around 6500 Valium tablets were found as a result of a raid on a property in Alexandria.

Officers searched a property in McEwan Walk on Monday and recovered the pills along with other Class B drugs.

A police spokesperson said: "The search resulted in a 45-year-old female being reported to the Procurator Fiscal for several offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971."
