Drug squad cops seized £23,000 of heroin, cocaine, cannabis and Etizolam from two properties in Paisley during an early-morning raid.
Officers from the force’s Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit and Paisley’s community policing team swooped in on two locations in Maxwellton Street and Bobbins Gate in the town’s west end on Wednesday morning.

They carried out an extensive search of the sites where they uncovered large quantities of pills, white and brown powder and herbal plants believed to be the Class A, B and C drugs.
The drugs recovered from the premises have been sent away for testing and are understood to have a street value of £23,000.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers in possession of search warrants issued under the Misuse of Drugs Act attended at two addresses in Paisley, Maxwellton Road and Bobbins Gate at 8.30am on Wednesday.

“Following searches of both properties, officers involved with the Violence Reduction Unit and Paisley’s community policing team recovered a large quantity of what is believed to be cocaine, heroin, Etizolam pills and cannabis plants.
“The estimated street value of the substances found at both properties is around £23,000.
“Three men aged 33, 45 and 59 were arrested in connection with drug supply offences.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
Police in Renfrewshire have previously told how they are working to crackdown on those supplying drugs in the community.
A spokesman added: “We will continue to target the individuals and networks responsible for supplying harmful substances across Renfrewshire.
“If you have any information at all relating to drug activity in your community then we would ask you to contact police.
“Do people come and go at strange times of the day? Are windows covered? Is there any strong smell from the property?
“We are determined to disrupt the supply of drugs in Renfrewshire and will use every means at our disposal to target those responsible for selling harmful substances.”
Three men aged 33, 45, and 59 have been arrested and charged with alleged drug supply offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
