Cops search for missing Scots boy, 14, who may have travelled to Manchester

Police have launched a bid to trace a missing Scots teenager who may have travelled to Manchester after vanishing overnight.

Joshua Davies was last seen at around 4pm on Friday in the Goudie Street area of Paisley.

The 14-year-old, who recently moved to the area, is described as 5ft 5ins tall and of a medium build with fair hair.

He was last seen wearing black jogging bottoms, a blue-T-shirt, a black North Face hooded top and a black Underarmour baseball cap.

Cops investigating his disappearance are appealing for help to trace the teen who has connections in the Greater Manchester area.

Sergeant Jackie Melvin said: “Joshua has recently moved to Paisley and may not be familiar with the town.

“ He may also have tried to travel to the Greater Manchester area where he has connections.

“Anyone who has seen Joshua or anyone who knows where he might be is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3001 of Friday, 29 May, 2020.”
