Cops have sealed off a road following a 'serious crash' involving a motorcyclist.
The alarm was raised at around 1:30pm on Friday, August 3, after the smash on Auchenfoil Road, Kilmacolm.
Motorists are being warned to avoid the area after police shut down the road.
Emergency services remain at the scene this afternoon.
It's not yet known if anyone has been injured.
In a warning on Facebook, Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Police Division said: 'Inverclyde Police are dealing with a serious crash on Auchenfoil Road Kilmacolm.
"The road is currently closed. Please avoid the area if possible and follow all diversions.'
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are currently at Auchenfoil Road, Kilmacolm following a crash involving a motorcyclist which was reported to the police at 12.35pm on Friday, 3 September, 2021.
"The B788 is currently closed."
