A number of police have descended on a Cowdenbeath street after a concern for a person.
Around four police vans were spotted on Craigbeath Court by eyewitnesses at around 7pm on Boxing Day.
Officers continue to remain in the area more than three hours since they were called to the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “This incident is being contained and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
“We are now working to bring this to a safe conclusion.”
