Cops release picture of man they want to talk to after serious attack aboard Glasgow bus

Police have appealed for help in identifying this man following a serious assault aboard a bus.

The victim was attacked on the number two Airdrie service as it was driven through Glasgow city centre.

The man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious leg injury and detectives say the man pictured may be able to help their investigation.

The incident happened at 5.15pm on Wednesday, March 6 and Detective Constable Alistair Donaldson is keen to hear from anyone with information.

He said: "Anyone who recognises this man, any witnesses to the assault, or anyone with information should call city centre police office through 101 quoting reference number 2924 of March 6.

"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
