Cops release pics of 17 they want to speak to about Rangers fans' George Square trouble

Police have released CCTV of 17 people they wish to speak with in relation to the large scale disturbance in George Square after the Rangers title win on May 15.

17 images have been released to the public as police urge anyone with information on the individuals to come forward.

They believe the people pictured may be able to help with ongoing investigations into the incidents in Glasgow earlier this month.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are continuing to investigate a large scale disturbance that occurred on Saturday 15 May 2021 in and around George Square in Glasgow.

“Officers have released CCTV images of seventeen people they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 1048 of Saturday 15 May 2021. Information can also be submitted via this link.

“Alternatively you can contact CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
