Cops have released an image of a man they are hunting in connection with a serious assault on New Year's Day.
Officers are urgently trying to trace 27-year-old Kieran Murphy from Inverclyde following a vicious attack on January 1 this year.
The incident happened in the Greenock area around 2.35am.
Cops are are urging anyone with information on Kieran's whereabouts to get in touch as soon as possible.
They are also people to contact Greenock Police Office on 101 if they know anyone who may be able to assist enquires.
