Cops raid Kilmarnock home in £7k drugs bust and arrest two teenagers

Two teenagers have been arrested after cops found £7000 worth of Class A and B drugs during a raid in Kilmarnock.

Officers swooped on the property in London Road at around 6.10pm on Wednesday before making the shocking recovery.

Drugs including cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy were found during a search as well as a four figure sum of money which was seized by officers.

Police Scotland confirmed that two men - aged 19 - have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.

Locality Policing Inspector, Jason Peter, said “Drugs cause misery in our communities.

“We are committed to working with local residents and our partners to identify those involved in the supply of drugs and profiting from this misery.

“We will then work to disrupt their activities, detect the crimes they are involved in and bring them to justice.

“I would encourage anyone who has concerns about crime in their community to contact us by calling 101 or in an emergency by calling 999.

“Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity CrimeStoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
