A young woman has tragically been found dead in a Scots play park.
Emergency services were called to the scene within Penilee Play Park on Barshaw Road, Glasgow, shortly before 10am on Saturday.
A 21-year-old woman’s body was discovered by police and an investigation has been launched.
Police have confirmed they do not believe the death is suspicious and that a post-mortem will take place to determine how she died.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.55 am on Saturday, 20 June, 2020, a 21 -year-old woman was found dead within Penilee Play Park, Barshaw Road, Glasgow.
“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death however police are not treating it as suspicious meantime.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
