Cops race to crash between car and pedestrian on Glasgow street

Cops have raced to the scene of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Glasgow.

Officers from Police Scotland were called to Duntreath Avenue in the Drumchapel area of the city at around 1.55pm today, February, 17.

It is not known if there are any injuries at this stage.

Locals reported the area had been taped off while cops conducted their investigation.

Several roads around the scene were also said to be "blocked".

However, the area has apparently since re-opened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Daily Record: "Officers attended at Duntreath Avenue in Glasgow at 1.55pm today Wednesday, 17 February, 2021 following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
