Five youths have been traced and reported following a racially aggravated attack in Glasgow on Monday.
Around 1.30pm a 50-year-old woman, who wears a hijab, was allegedly 'attacked' by the gang who were said to have 'cornered' her and shouted Islamophobic abuse at her.
It is further alleged that one teen even hit her with a plank of wood in the face during the horrific ordeal near Ibrox subway station.
Police have confirmed that five juveniles have now been traced and reported.
Cops have stepped up patrols in the Ibrox area following the incident in a bid to reassure the public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ""Five youths, three females, aged 13, 14 and 14 years and two males aged 13 and 14 years, will be the subject of a report to the Scottish Children's Reporters Administration in connection with the incident.
"Officers will be in the area carrying out public reassurance patrols."
