Police investigating the alleged 'stabbing' of a man in Grangemouth, have made an arrest.
Officers swooped on a flat on Kingseat Avenue at around 8am this morning, after a 22-year-old man was found injured within a house on Avonbank Avenue in the town on Sunday January, 9.
He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for treatment, where his injuries where assessed a not life-threatening.
A 24-year-old man has now been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a man was found injured on Sunday, 9 January, within a property in Avonbank Avenue, Grangemouth.
"The 22-year-old was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert for treatment and later released.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
