Cops probe 'unexplained' deaths of two men near Aberdeen after bodies found in house

Police have launched a probe into the 'unexplained' deaths of two men after their bodies were discovered at a house near Aberdeen .

The men, aged 28 and 44, were discovered by officers inside a property in Swann Place, Ballater on Friday afternoon.

Postmortems are due to take place to establish the cause of death.

Cops have began their inquires and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On Friday afternoon, 6 March, 2020, the bodies of two men, aged 44 and 28 years, were discovered within a house in Swann Place, Ballater, Aberdeenshire. 

"A post mortem will take place to establish the exact cause of their death which at this time police are treating as unexplained.  Enquiries are continuing. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
