Police are probing the unexplained death of a man in Cumbernauld .
The 25-year-old's body was found within a property on Millcroft Road at around 11.40am yesterday.
A heavy police presence has been reported in the area, with locals reporting seeing forensic officers scouring the scene.
One woman said: "It looks serious whatever happened as yesterday there was six police vehicles and ambulances.
"Forensics have been several times now too.
"Everyone local is saying murder with drugs."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland were made aware of the death of a 25-year-old man in a property on Millcroft Road at 11.40am on Sunday.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
