Police are probing the suspicious death of a man after he was found seriously injured at an Ayr home.
Emergency crews were called to Marigold Square at around 4pm on Saturday afternoon after the 34-year-old man was found seriously injured.
Medical staff attempted to save his life but he later died at the scene.
Police Scotland have now launched an investigation into the man’s death, which officers are treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called to Marigold Square at 4pm on Saturday afternoon after a 34-year-old man was found seriously injured.
“The man was treated at the property but he later died at the scene.
“A post-mortem will now be carried out and his death is being treated as suspicious at this time.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
