DEHRADUN: The police team investigating the murder of the 30-year-old woman from West Bengal (WB), whose body had been decomposing for nearly three months, in a bed storage at a private guest house in Dehradun's Rajpur area, has found that the key suspect in the case, killed himself in February soon after killing the woman.
According to police, the man, Azrul Lashkar, was found dead inside his 24 Parganas district home, WB on February 3. Police recovered the body of Rifain Bibi, a resident of Bardhman, WB, from the bed storage inside the locked room of a private guest house on Thursday. Bibi used to live with Laskhkar in the guest house while working together at a spa in Mussoorie. SP, Dehradun (crime) Vishakha Bhadane on Saturday said that the investigation suggests that the murder took place between January 10-16, while Lashkar left for WB on January 16. "Initially it was found that Lashkar was Bibi's husband, but later it was found that he was her paramour. Bibi's husband works as a labourer in Kerala. She was living with Lashkar in Dehradun, who after killing her, went to her home in WB. He had informed the neighbours that he is going to see Bibi at her parents' home," said the SP.
