Cops make CCTV appeal after knifeman robs Greenock store

Police have released a CCTV image after a shop in Greenock was robbed by a man wielding a knife.

Cops have released an image of the man they wish to speak to in connection with the robbery which occurred on December 20 2019 within Costcutter Express Roxburgh Street, Greenock.

Around 8.45pm a man entered the store and threatened staff with a blade before demanding cash.

Detectives are looking to trace the man in the image as they believe he may be able to assist police with their enquiries.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 7inches, slim build, with a scar to his left cheek bone, wearing a grey with a white logo to the left chest, a black beanie hat and black snood.
