Cops lockdown Scots road as dramatic pictures show aftermath of 'serious' crash

Cops have locked down a Scots road following a 'serious' crash.

Emergency services raced to the crash on the B922 between Cluny and Kinglassie at around 5.35pm on Wednesday, January 5.

It's understood three cars were involved in the horror smash.

The road has been shut down while cops carry out investigations into the collision.

Police have also shared dramatic pictures from the scene. Officers can be scouring the road in the aftermath of the crash.

In a statement, Fife police division said: "Fife Road Police are currently dealing with a serious crash on the B922 between Clunie and the Strathore Road Junction.

"The roadway is closed while we complete our investigations. Please observe the road closure signs and find an alternative route."

It's not yet known if anyone has been injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving three vehicles on the B922 between Cluny and Kinglassie, around 5.35pm on Wednesday, 5 January.

“Emergency services are currently in attendance and the road is closed.”
