Cops lock down Scots street and arrest man amid 'disturbance'

Cops swarmed a Scots street last night amid reports of a 'disturbance' with a man later being arrested.

Police vans and several cars were spotted on Harris Drive, in Kirkcaldy, Fife around 9.40pm last night.

The huge presence was captured on camera with mask-wearing officers seen on the street.

Details are still emerging of what the 'disturbance' involved but cops said a 38-year-old man was arrested in connection and their probe continues.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called to Harris Drive, Kirkcaldy around 9.40pm on Saturday 22 May following reports of a disturbance.

"A 38-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries continue."
