A car park in Glasgow's Merchant City has been locked down by police after a woman was sexually assaulted.
Officers were made aware that a woman in her thirties had been sexually assaulted in the NCP King Street car park area overnight around 10.50am today.
Cops have taped off the area as enquiries remain ongoing.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police in Glasgow received a report around 10.50am on Sunday, 22 August, that a woman in her thirties had been sexually assaulted in the King Street car park area overnight.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1528 of 22 August.”
