Cops lock down Broxburn street amid on 'ongoing incident'

Cops have locked down a Broxburn street today amid an ongoing incident in the West Lothian town.

Officers from Police Scotland and paramedics were called to West Main Street at around 4.45pm.

As a result of the incident a large area of the street has been taped off.

It is not known at this time the reason for the police and incident response unit presence.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed to The Sun that cops were in attendance at an "ongoing incident".
