Cops have locked down large areas near a Scot school following an incident.
Pictures taken around 6am this morning show a police cordoned erected around Grangemouth High School parts of Tinto Drive in Grangemouth.
Images show a number officers guarding the scene with a van also in attendance.
Local reports indicate that two crimes scene appear to be investigated, however this has not been confirmed.
The nature of the incident is not known at this time.
A local told the Daily Record: "Cops have been here since the early hours of this morning, I woke up about 6am and it was all taped off.
“I stuck my head out the window to ask what was going on and told that a detective would probably knock my door later.
“It looks quite serious though because three different areas are all cordoned off.
“It’s a busy road, and right next to a school, so someone must have seen something.”
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
