Cops launch urgent search for missing Aberdeenshire woman as concern grows for her welfare

Cops have launched an urgent search for a missing Aberdeenshire woman as concern grows for her welfare.

Stephanie Donald was last seen in the Clark Avenue area of Banchory around 5pm today.

The 22-year-old is described as being 5ft 10, of medium build, and has shoulder-length brown hair.

When she was last seen Stephanie was wearing a blue puffa jacket with a hood, blue jeans and white or pink trainers.

There are concerns regarding her welfare and she is thought to be driving a orange Nissan Micra with the registration SW17 RXD.

Inspector Drew Sharp said: "Along with her family, we are concerned for Stephanie's wellbeing the longer she goes without getting in touch.

"We're asking for anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact police as soon as possible.

"Please call 101, quoting incident 2808 of 6 March."
