Cops launch urgent appeal to find man who went missing from Clydebank

A man who has been missing from West Dunbartonshire since Thursday has prompted a police investigation.

Scott Anderson was last seen at Bannerman Place in Clydebank on October 1.

Officers from Police Scotland say it is unlike the 51-year-old to be out of contact with family for so long.

He is described as white, with a slim build and is approximately 5 foot 11” in height.

He has black greying hair, bushy eyebrows, no front teeth and grey/blue eyes.

Inspector Morven Sutherland, of Dumbarton Police Office, said today: “It is unlike Scott to be away from home for this period of time without letting his family or friends know where he is going and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for him.

“We are appealing to Scott himself to get in touch or if anyone has any information as to Scott’s whereabouts, please contact police on 101 quoting incident number 905 of 9 October.”
