Cops launch probe into 'unexplained' death of 37-year-old woman in Linwood

Detectives have launched an investigation into the death of a woman in Linwood.

The 37-year-old died suddenly at Belmar Court, Langholm Drive, last night.

Cops and ambulance crews raced to the high-rise block around 11pm.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 11pm on Tuesday, July 20 we received a report of the sudden death of a 37-year-old woman within a property on Langholm Drive in Linwood.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquires as ongoing.”
