Cops launch manhunt for brute who attacked toddler in Dundee shopping centre

Cops are appealing for information after a three-year-old child was assaulted in a shopping centre in .

The incident in the took place at  around 1.15pm on Friday, September 27 near .

At the time of the assault the tot was being carried by a man of appearance.

As a result the child appeared to be distressed but unhurt.

The male carrying the child is approximately six foot tall, between 30 - 40 years old wearing a fleece burgundy body warmer and dark jeans.

A Police Scotland statement read: "If you were within the area at the time of the incident and believe you may have information which could assist with this enquiry please contact 101 quoting incident number 1724 of 27 September 2019.

"Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
