Cops launch frantic search to find teen who vanished near cycle path in Scots town

A frantic search has been launched to find a Scots teen who vanished near a cycle path yesterday.

Officers are appealing for information to help trace Rachel Allan, 15, after she was reported missing from Lochwinnoch, near to the cycle path at around 8.30pm on Saturday February, 11.

Police are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.

She is described as being around 5ft 8in in height, of medium build, with blue eyes and black shoulder length hair with blonde highlights.

Rachel was wearing an orange jumper, black shorts, black socks and black slider shoes when she was last seen.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who has seen Rachel or who has any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 3486 of 11 February, 2023."
