Cops launch desperate search to find family of pensioner found dead in Glasgow

Cops have launched a desperate plea to trace the family of a pensioner found dead in his home in Glasgow.

Alan Stevely was discovered at his home on Gala Street in the Riddrie area of the city on April 14, 2020.

Officers from Police Scotland say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 73-year-old.

Now cops are frantically searching for his relatives to inform them of the tragic news.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracing relatives of a 73 year old male who recently died in the Riddrie area of Glasgow.

"Alan Stevely was found dead within his home on 14/04/2020

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

"Anyone who has knowledge of Alan Stevely’s relatives is asked to contact the Divisional Administration Units, London Road Police Office on 0141-532-4761.

"Monday to Friday 0800 – 1600hrs."
