Police have launched a CCTV appeal after horror assault in Edinburgh.
Detectives from Police Scotland are frantically searching for a woman who may be able to assist them with the incident.
It comes after a man was left hurt from injuries at Greenside Place, on Saturday, 7 December, 2019.
Now cops have released new images and believe the woman in them 'may have information that will assist' their investigation.
The woman in the images is described as white, around 5 ft 8 ins, slim build with black shoulder length hair.
She is wearing a black jacked, checked scarf and blue denim jeans.
Police Scotland said: "Anyone who recognises the woman in the image or has any information in connection is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0223 of 7 December 2019.
"Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
