Police are appealing for witnesses following an alleged hit and run on the M9 on Monday, September 14.
One lane was closed at the Southbound Newbridge junction following the collision at around 10.15am.
Traffic Scotland tweeted about the incident, saying lane one of two was closed whilst debris was being cleared from the carriagway.
O fficers from Police Scotland are now investigating what happened and are looking for anyone who may have saw something to come forward.
A social media post from Edinburgh Police Division read: "We are looking for witnesses to a suspected hit and run collision that happened on the M9 at Newbridge yesterday, 14/09/2020 around 1015hrs.
"If you saw the incident or have dashcam footage, please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 0946 14/09/2020."
