Cops issue photo of motorbike as search continues for missing Scot

Cops have issued a photograph of a motorbike as they continue their search for a missing Scot.

Robert Clark was last seen in Lumphinnnans, Fife, on Sunday.

Police have warned the public not to approach the 58-year-old, from Inverkeithing, who is believed to be riding his red and black Honda CBR 600 motorbike.

Mr Clark is described as being around 5ft 9 inches tall, of slim build with very short, dark/greying hair. He has a goatee beard and normally wears glasses.

When last seen, he was wearing a black motorcycle jacket with green inlays, black jeans and brown boots.

Mr Clark has been missing since last Sunday. (Police Scotland)

His motorbike’s registration is SF51 FYT.

Inspector Stephen Kay, who is leading the search, said : “We have released a photograph of the motorbike we believe Robert is using in the hope someone might have seen it.

“We are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and I would urge anyone who sees him or the bike to get in touch with police as soon as possible.”

Earlier in the week, Police Scotland Inspector, Ian Poolman, said: “Members of the public are advised not to approach him and if anyone sees him, or has any information regarding his present whereabouts, they should contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1487 of 17 November, 2020.
