Three cars were stolen in the Wishaw area in as many days.
The theft spree has prompted police to issue an appeal for information in a bid to catch those responsible.
A blue Suzuki Swift 06 plate was nicked between 7pm on Wednesday, June 17 and 4.30am the following day on Glencairn Avenue, Craigneuk.
Between 8.30pm on June 18 and 5am on Friday, a 13 plate red Ford Fiesta was stolen in Cairngorm Crescent in Wishawhill.
This was followed by a theft in Yarrow Crescent in Coltness. A 65 plate white Ford Kuga was taken between midnight and 10am on Saturday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are following a positive line of enquiry in relation to these thefts.
“However, we are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen these vehicles travelling in or out of Wishaw at these times.”
Elsewhere, officers are also hunting a crook who broke into a van in Motherwell and stole a number of work tools.
The theft from the 16 plate Citroen Relay van occurred between 11pm on June 16 and 8am the following day in John Muir Way.
Officers estimate the stolen tools were worth more than £1000.
