Cops 'increasingly concerned' for welfare of missing Dumfries man

Police have launched a search for a man missing from his home in Dumfries for five days.

Joseph Greinder, 32, was last seen at his home address in the Queen Street area at around 5pm on Monday and has not been seen or heard of since.

He is described as being 5ft 10ins tall of a slim build, a fair complexion with short ginger hair.

Cops say they are "increasingly concerned" for his welfare.

At the time he went missing Joseph is believed to have been wearing a denim jacket and had with him a black Staffordshire bull terrier.

Inspector Mary McCreadie of Loreburn police station said: "Along with his family, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Joseph’s welfare and are keen to locate him as soon as possible.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen Joseph to contact us immediately. Similarly, if Joseph is reading this, let us know you are safe and well.”
