Cops in Lanarkshire appeal for help after car is torched in early evening attack

Police in Cumbernauld are asking for help after a SUV in the town was torched.

The incident happened around 6.45pm on Tuesday (September 28) when a Red Toyota Rav 4 was set alight on Fannyside Road at its junction with Forest Road.

Now officers are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything, who may have dashcam or Ring video footage, to come forward.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.

Information can be left via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
