Cops hunt youth suspected of throwing bricks and bottles at firefighters in Falkirk

Police in Falkirk have released details about a group of thugs suspected of attacking firefighters at the weekend.

Crews were targeted with bricks and bottles after being called to a deliberate blaze on Manuel Terrace in Whitecross at around 8pm on Friday April, 23.

Officers are looking for one person in particular thought to have been wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a dark navy hooded top with a red stripe along the chest and on the back.

He thought to be between 11 and 15-year-old.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8pm on Friday April 23rd, at Manuel Terrace, Whitecross, firefighters were attacked by a group of youths.

"One of the suspects is described as male 11-15 years of age, wearing black tracksuit bottoms & a dark navy hooded top with a red stripe along the chest and on the back.

"If you can help with our enquiries please phone 101 quoting Incident number 3656 23rd April 2/2."
