Cops hunt thugs that damaged bench and vandalised art work in Denny

Police in Falkirk are on the hunt for thugs who have caused damage to a bench and vandalised art work in the area.

Officers were alerted to the incident on Monday May 17 and are asking anyone who might have heard or witnessed anything to come forward.

The vandalism is believed to have happened in Denny Town Centre between Friday May 14 and Monday May 17.

Posting on Twitter, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Between Friday 14th and Monday 17th May, a bench was forcibly removed from its runners and damaged within Denny Town Centre.

"Artwork in this area has also been damaged.

"If you have any information in relation to these incidents, please call 101 and quote reference 1147 of 17th May."
