Cops in an area of Falkirk are on the hunt for thugs after a woman's car windscreen was smashed.
The incident is thought to have happened on Main Street in Stenhousemuir at around 11.30pm on Sunday night.
Pictures posted on social media show a dark coloured car with its windscreen shattered after being hit with an object.
Officers had stepped up patrols in the Stenhousemuir and Larbert areas in recent weeks because of anti-social behaviour and vandalism.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a car which was vandalised on Main Street in Stenhousemuir shortly after 11.35pm on Sunday, 4 July.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
