Cops hunt teenage thugs after Scots takeaway driver jumped while delivering food

Two teenage thugs attempted to rob a Scots takeaway delivery driver in a mindless attack.

The female victim was approached from behind by two yobs while delivering food to a property within Ord Terrace, Invergordon.

They tried to grab her mobile phone before throwing it on the ground and smashing it.

Officers from Police Scotland have launched an investigation into the incident which happened on Friday at around 6pm.

The suspects are described as being dressed in dark hooded tops, one youth had dark jogging bottoms with a white strip down the leg and the other youth had grey jogging bottoms.

The victim believes at least one of the suspects were male.

A police statement read: "Any person who has information in relation to these incidents or saw anything suspicious is asked to contact Alness Police Station on 101, quoting incident number NE/1461/20."
