Cops hunt 'suspicious' Land Rover Discovery seen trying to pull cars over near Denny

Police in Falkirk are on the hunt for the driver of a Land Rover Discovery seen acting suspiciously in Denny last weekend.

Officers were alerted to reports the driver was bearing high visibility markings and flashing lights on the A872 Stirling to Denny road and on Nethermains Road in Denny at around 5:40pm on Sunday June, 20.

Witnesses say the person was also driving dangerously and trying to pull other vehicles over.

Cops want to speak to anyone who might have dash cam footage of the incidents.

Constable Neal Mealey, from Stirling Road Policing Unit, said: "We are particularly keen to speak with anyone who saw this vehicle in or around the particular areas mentioned.

"Additionally, if you believe that this vehicle attempted to stop you or other road users by means of flashing lights, then we would also encourage you to contact us.

"Anyone with information or dash cam footage can call 101 quoting incident number 2829 of 20 June."
