Cops hunt suspect who robbed man in Livingston

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed on a footpath in Livingston on Sunday afternoon.

The man was walking along the footpath between the Carmondean Centre car park and Lanark Avenue at around 4.20pm on Sunday September 15th when he was approached from behind by the suspect who asked him for a cigarette and then robbed him before walking off in the direction of Raeburn Rigg.

The suspect is described as white, 5ft 2in, aged between 16 and 20 with short, dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and tan coloured shorts.
