Cops hunt off-road driver as sheep killed in Peterhead after being 'struck by vehicle' in field

Cops are hunting an off-road driver who is believed to have killed three sheep in Peterhead.

The sheep's dead bodies were discovered in the Blackhills area of Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

Police say they are believed to have been 'struck by a non-agricultural vehicle'.

It's thought the collision happened sometime between Friday, October 1, at 5pm and Saturday, October 2, at 8am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Anyone who has seen any non agricultural vehicles being driven off road in the area or has any information is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting crime reference 0231541021.

"An anonymous report can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
