Cops hunt man who sexually assaulted woman at Scots train station

Cops are hunting a man who subjected a woman to a sexual assault at a Glasgow train station.

The victim had been at Mount Florida station at around 5.30pm, October 9, when the incident took place.

The woman was approached by a man who attacked her while they both stood at platform one in the station.

After the assault, they both boarded the 5.46pm service towards Glasgow Central.

The man sat in the seat across from the victim and continued to make sexual comments towards her throughout the journey.

The man is described as white, in his mid-thirties, and of slim build. He had short ginger hair, hazel eyes and was wearing a black t-shirt with a beige denim jacket.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, particularly those who may have sat near them on the train, to assist their enquiries.
