Police are hunting for a man who indecently exposed himself to three young girls on a street in Glenrothes .
The three girls were walking along Boblingen Way at the rear of Barnhill Place at around 2pm on Sunday.
During their walk, the girls, aged 12, 12 and 11, saw a man standing on the path wearing nothing other than a dark-coloured t-shirt over his head.
Police Scotland have launched an appeal as they continue to search for the man responsible for the indecent exposure.
He has been described as white, around 6ft and of heavy build.
Detective Constable Stephanie Drummond at Glenrothes Police Station said: “We have been carrying out enquiries since this incident was reported to trace the man responsible.
“We know that there were other people walking along the path at the time of this incident, and I would appeal to them, or anyone with information that will assist our investigation to contact officers.”
A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: “Anyone with information should contact Glenrothes Police Station through 101 quoting reference number 2275 of September 15.”
