Cops hunt man missing from Dumfries hospital wearing only pyjama bottoms

Cops are frantically searching for a man who went missing from a Dumfries hospital wearing no shoes or top.

James McClurg was last seen leaving Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary at 7am this morning dressed only in pyjama bottoms.

Police officers, including the dog unit have been searching the area around the hospital and nearby fields this morning without success.

A police spokesperson said: "Given James' current state of dress he should stand out."

Anyone with information, or knows James' whereabouts, is asked to phone 101 quoting incident number 0493 of 09 July 2019.
