Cops hunt man after pensioner headbutted in row over parking space in Perthshire

A man in his 70s has been injured after he was headbutted by another man in a row over a parking space.

He suffered facial injuries in the incident outside the Co-op store in Main Street, Bridge of Earn, in Perthshire .

Police said the man was assaulted following a "verbal altercation over a parking space" at around 11.50am on Thursday.

They are keen to trace a white man in his late 50s to early 60s, who is about 6ft, of medium build, with white/grey hair.

He was wearing glasses and described as well-dressed. He drove off in a dark red SUV-type car, possibly with a 67 plate registration.

Cops are also keen to speak to members of the public who helped the injured man as they may be potential witnesses.
